Cindy Sherman made this piece called "Facetime with Cindy Sherman" in 2017. This is a very odd picture. The way her facial expression has a silly touch to it. I love the colors of the plants behind Cindy and the way they contrast with her robe and nail polish. Most females who use "facetime" or want to "take a selfie" would try to get all dolled up to have the best picture. Sherman did not do that. She made her face deformed on purpose, gave herself a funny facial expression. And just doesn't look dolled up like most millennial females would now-a-days.
