This is a portrait that Cindy Sherman did in the years of 2015-2016. She typically uses her self for the model and does her own hair and makeup as well as makes her own costumes. This is one of her more recent portraits and has a different vibe than the film still portraits she did in the beginning of her career. Cindy likes to portray the female persona in different ways to show the many faces and lives that women can live, some can live many lives in one body that others do not know about. This portrait I think depicts that the best. I also like how their is a psychedelic vibe to this one as well. The background is all melty, symmetrical and has fractals as well. The pattern shirts that the women in the front are wearing has a hypnotizing feel to them if you stare. The women all have a sort of mystical gaze about them as well that makes them feel like they're looking right at you.
