This painting by Jenny Saville caught my attention because this is one of her many nude paintings. Which allows me to see that she embraces nudity in thicker women. I am able to see that a lot of the women's face expressions give the impression that they are upset, unbothered or self conscience. However, Jenny finds a way to make them appealing in her paintings. Although, a lot of them seem to have a lot of sex appeal. I believe Jenny either admires women with this body figure and finds beauty them in a way. However, the face impressions can also speak of the body shaming thicker women go through. Since there is a way society portrays what a "beautiful" women should look like. I really like this painting and the way she used the skin coloring to match the background but still finds a way to make the body figure stand out.
