In 2018, Jenny Saville created Ancestors: Byzantium; a scrambled and energetic piece that captures archetypes from various religion and mythology. This is done to see the blurred distinction between the body and classical sculpture. She takes ideas, memories, and alternate dimensions to appear as something unrecognizable. It is almost as if you're looking at anatomical veins and arteries but up close the colors are graffitied destroying the illusion.
