Sir Eduardo Paolozzi made this piece called Meet the People in 1948. This piece of artwork was presented in 1971 though. This collage is made from magazines given to Paolozzi by American ex-serviceman. Eduardo title of his series refers to Henry Ford''s statement ''History is more or less bunk.... We want to live in the present''. Paolozzi''s belief is that his pieces of artwork should respond to contemporary culture. I overall love this piece because I love Minnie Mouse and Lucy from I love Lucy. I would watch this show with my parents all the time.
